Tinsel for Tots


	We are encouraging everyone in Bristol and the South West to take part in Tinsel for Tots on Friday 7th December 2012 and to raise vital funds to help support Bristol Children's Hospital and our Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael's Hospital, Bristol. All you need to do is wear a piece of Tinsel to work or school or wherever you go on the day, and pay just £1 to the Appeal to raise funds to help support sick babies and children throughout Bristol and the South West. Tinsel for Tots is the perfect way to get festive and fundraise and it really couldn't be simpler! All you need to do is wear a piece of tinsel to school, the office, or even round the house on Friday 7th December and donate £1 to The Grand Appeal. 	If you have any problems registering with the link above, please register by emailing info@grandappeal.org.uk with your name, company/school, address and contact number, along with how many people are taking part and we will send your pack out to you in October. Want to take part but unsure of what to wear? Check out some of our ideas below to be inspired: Keep it simple - Borrow a piece of Tinsel from your tree for the day and wear it in style! Use your head - Wear a tinsel wig, hat or hair-band! Tinsel up your shoes by wearing tinsel shoelaces Want to keep your tinsel small? Wear glitzy festive earrings or a necklace, or create your own tinsel bracelet Or go all out in festive fancy dress - Become a Christmas tree complete with tinsel and baubles, or Father Christmas with a tinsel beard! Get customising - Decorate your t-shirt, trousers, whatever you fancy! Do you have your tinsel outfit sorted but want to do more? Make festive cakes and biscuits for a cake sale at your work place or school to add some extra pennies to the pot! Charge your colleagues and school friends to play fun games e.g Pin the Tinsel on the Christmas Tree or hold a tinsel 3 legged race! Hold a fashion show with tinsel clothing and accessories and charge entry Guess the sweets in a jar - Why not use festive coloured sweets!
